KYIV, Nov 3 - In January-September,
Ukraine’s population paid Hr 3.436 billion for housing services, including payment
for the previous periods, or 75 percent of the amount, according to the State
Statistics Committee, Ukrainian News reported. In January-September, the population
paid 27.2 percent, or Hr 736 million more than for the same period last year.
The population owed debts for housing and municipal services for an average period of 12 months in September, while the government agencies responsible for subsidizing the costs of housing and municipal services owed debts to the organizations providing such services for a an average period of 7.4 months, according to the report.
